Prerequisite Master Data

These master records must be created first. They are required by the Company Profile (Country, State, City, Postal Code) and Currency settings (Base Currency).

Locations (Country, State, City, Postal Code)

Geographic Hierarchy

Set up the location hierarchy before creating your Company Profile. The Company Profile form requires you to select Country, State/Province, City, and Postal Code from these master lists.

Countries - Add your operating countries (e.g., UAE, India, UK)

States/Provinces - Add states or emirates under each country

Cities - Add cities under each state

Postal Codes - Add postal/ZIP codes for each city

Currencies (Base Currency)

Currency Setup

Add at least your base (home) currency before setting up the Company Profile. The Base Currency dropdown on the company form pulls from this list.

Base Currency - Your primary reporting currency (e.g., AED, INR, USD)

Foreign Currencies - Additional currencies for international transactions

Exchange Rates - Can be added later for currency conversion

Important: You must create Locations and at least one Currency before proceeding to Company Setup. The Company Profile form requires Country, State, City, and Postal Code selections, and a Base Currency.
